Amber Sabathia is a woman full of passion and purpose. She is an entrepreneur and philanthropist.

Having grown up in the inner city and been raised by a single mom, Amber learned early on to follow her dream and that anything is possible. With this core value at the forefront, she co-founded the PitCCh In Foundation to enrich the lives of at-risk youth in the inner city. As the Executive Director, Amber is committed to strengthening and expanding the Signature Programs.

An avid runner, Amber bridged her passion for running and giving back when she joined the New York Road Runners (NYRR) Board of Directors. She serves on the Youth & Communities and DEI Committees and works hard to fulfill the mission of giving all people everywhere a reason to run.

Amber graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies and earned a Certificate of Philanthropy at Heyman College at New York University. She is married to her high school sweetheart, CC Sabathia, six-time All-Star and Cy Young Award-winning pitcher for the New York Yankees, retiring in 2019 after 19 years in the MLB. Amidst all her success, Amber’s greatest accomplishment is being a mom to four amazing children.
